Environment Track

This track focuses on utilizing advancements in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) to foster sustainable practices and address environmental challenges. This track aims to empower private and public institutions to become resource-efficient while promoting ethical and sustainable practices that prioritize societal and environmental well-being, along with economic development.

Participants in the Environment track will explore innovative solutions that contribute to a regenerative approach, creating a more sustainable future for Africa. The following examples serve as inspiration for potential interventions:

● Regenerative agriculture practices and sustainable food production

● Access to, and utilization of, reliable, green and affordable energy sources

● Securing clean water and proper sanitation

● A utilization of water-energy-food nexus applications and technologies

Social Track

This track aims to empower private and public institutions to become socially responsible by implementing interventions that enhance societal well-being, promote ethical practices, and emphasize the efficient use of resources.

Participants in the Social track will explore innovative solutions that address key social challenges and contribute to the overall goal of sustainable development. The following examples serve as inspiration for potential interventions:

● Added-Value Supply Chain Management

● Sustainable Waste Management

● Population and Resources

● Developmental project’s impact on communities

Economic Track

Participants in the Economic track will focus on harnessing advancements in ICT to foster sustainable economic development in Africa. This theme encourages participants to create innovative interventions that promote resource efficiency, ethical practices, and long-term economic growth while prioritizing societal and environmental well-being. 

Participants have the opportunity to shape a new economic paradigm that balances economic prosperity with societal and environmental well-being. By emphasizing eco-design and shared economy models, we can foster a more sustainable and inclusive economic landscape in Africa, benefiting communities, businesses, and the environment. The following examples serve as inspiration for potential interventions

General Track

This track includes any other ideas that are related to the main competition theme, but

does not fit perfectly in any of the first 3 tracks, accordingly, teams in this track are encouraged to attend all three sessions for the above tracks.
